Changing the row layout

The default row layout in the document list pane is for all document properties to appear on a single line similar to the following figure.

This layout is configured by a system administrator. You can change the layout of document properties from one line to multiple lines. This can be useful to prevent properties from being hidden from view when many are shown.

To change the row layout:

1. Right-click the column heading that you would like to move to a new line, for example, Current Version Author.
2. On the shortcut menu, click Move Column Down. The property appears on a new line, similar to the following figure.

3. To move the property back in line with the other columns, drag the heading back to the first line.
4. Right-click any column heading and click Remove Empty Headers on the shortcut menu to remove any empty lines in the row.
